Yoga = To Yoke

I fell in love with practicing and teaching yoga outside, in nature, while living and teaching in Costa Rica at Anamaya Resort from 2010-2011. After teaching yoga outdoors at the Circle of Trust Healing Center in Ashland, OR (a shamanic drug and alcohol rehab center), I came to realize that yoga is meant to be practiced outside, where we can receive the real transmission of the practice by allowing our bodies to sync up with our Greater Earth Body. (This transmission can also be given indoors, which I do provide at RASA Yoga Center in Ashland, OR and at Ashland Hot Yoga).
It is a part of my Dharma and my Earth Path to give the true transmission of Yoga-- the "Yoking" to Divine which is possible through the correct application of yoga energetics, connecting to Inner Source, Earth as Source, and Universal* Source.
In our final resting pose, Sivasana, we can really let go, allowing anything that's ready to disintegrate to melt into the ground. From this full letting go, we are, only then, capable of receiving fresh prana, life force energy. And in this moment of healthy reciprocity, gratitude for life emerges, with the remembrance that our bodies belong to the Earth, as does everything we have and will ever have.
Deep peace emerges naturally from this place. Shanti Om.
