Spiritual friend. Singer. Song-catcher. Mother of two wild and wonderful beings. Author. Healing guide. Nature fairy.
Destiny Love is devoted to creative expression, the embodied voice, and unlocking the hidden superpowers within humanness. Whether guiding a session or dancing barefoot in her garden, she’s most at home where energy moves freely and the elementals are singing through her.
Her life’s work, Embodied Voice Healing, blends somatic awareness, breath, sound, and energy medicine to dissolve fear, free expression, and reawaken magnetic presence — think voice yoga for the nervous system.
How It All Began Destiny’s relationship with vocal performance began at eight years old, singing for her church community, and later blossomed through more than a decade in musical theatre. After fourteen years of formal vocal training, an inner call led her to India, where she completed her classical Hatha Yoga certification at the Sivananda Kutir Ashram in 2009.
At 21, she offered her first class — Rise and Shine Yoga — at Ball State University, five mornings a week at 7:30 a.m. in a basement classroom. It filled up every day.
After graduating with a degree in Theatrical Studies (Musical Theatre & Vocal Performance), she moved to Costa Rica, teaching yoga in lush, nature-filled spaces and organically weaving sound and embodiment into one living practice.
What She Does Now Since 2010, Destiny has guided thousands through Embodied Voice Healing sessions, workshops, and retreats. Her work helps people untangle creative blocks, heal expression wounds, and integrate body and spirit. She calls it a process of un-training — returning to primal, intuitive sound as a doorway to authentic expression.
Her teaching celebrates freedom over perfection and play over performance.
Destiny’s online courses (including several bestsellers on Udemy) explore Nada Yoga (the yoga of sound), primal and pleasure-based sounding, improv singing, nervous system regulation, and group facilitation. You can also find her guided meditations on Insight Timer, where she’s been a teacher for nearly nine years, and her latest writings on Substack: thisembodiedmoment.substack.com.
Author & Musical Alchemist In 2019, while pregnant with her second child, Destiny wrote and narrated Living as a Vessel — a raw, poetic memoir about transforming trauma through creative expression.
Her second book, Womb Codes for Spiritual Intimacy (2022), offers an archetypal journey through the hormonal rhythms of womanhood — wisdom for both women and their partners.
When not writing or teaching, Destiny co-creates music with her husband and musical partner Andrew Hanuman and other collaborators. Their heart-opening songs blend devotion and body-wisdom and are available on all streaming platforms. Together they also host Song Ceremonies — co-creative sound journeys born from rhythm, melody, and play — as well as Sound Tapestries, immersive music journeys that feel like plant-medicine experiences without the plants.
At the Core Destiny believes that when the nervous system is nourished and safe, the voice opens naturally — and when the voice opens, life reorganizes around truth. Creativity flows. Healing happens.
Her work is an invitation to return to your essence, to let your true voice lead the way, and to live from the center of your embodied heart. If you’re ready to reconnect to your voice, your body, and your creative life — you’re in the right place.
