Singer. Songwriter. Mother of two wild and adorable humans. Author of two soul-baring books. Creatrix of three healing albums. Visionary behind four thriving online courses. Basically, if it's about creative expression, soulful sounds, or unlocking the hidden power of the voice—Destiny is in her element.
Her work? A deep dive into Embodied Voice Healing—where breath, sound, and energy merge to dissolve fear, liberate expression, and awaken magnetic presence. Think of it as vocal yoga for the soul.
How It All Began Destiny’s journey into vocal alchemy started in the most classic way possible—by singing her heart out in musical theatre. After training with professional voice teachers and performing for 14 years on stages in front of hundreds (and a few times thousands!), she took a sharp left turn and went straight to India, where she completed her classical Hatha yoga training at the Sivananda Kutir ashram in 2008. In the same year, she graduated from Ball State University with a degree in Theatrical Studies, with a focus in Musical Theatre.
Since 2010, Destiny has facilitated hundreds of Embodied Voice Healing experiences, helping people untangle their creative knots, release deep-seated self-sabotage loops, and rediscover their voice as a source of power and healing. But let’s be real—much of her work now is un-training. She’s all about shedding the rigid “right” way to sing and inviting people into the wild, unfiltered magic of their natural voice.
What She Does Now Destiny's program, Embodied Voice Healing, fuses sound, embodiment, and spiritual psychology to open new dimensions of self-expression. Her Udemy Courses(which have a habit of hitting bestseller status) cover everything from Nada Yoga and primal/pleasure sounding to improv singing and group facilitation. And if you need a deep, calming presence to guide you into Meditation, check out her work on the Insight Timer App—she’s been one of their teachers since 2017.
The Author & Musical Alchemist In 2019, while pregnant with her second child (because why not add a book to the mix?), Destiny wrote and narrated Living as a Vessel-- a raw, transformative work on integrating trauma into creative expression. Her second book, Womb Codes for Spiritual Intimacy (2022), is a poetic, archetypal deep dive into a woman’s hormonal cycle, offering wisdom for women *and* their partners on how to ride these sacred waves of monthly transformation.
When she’s not writing, teaching, or guiding people into vocal bliss, you’ll find Destiny crafting healing, heart-opening music—songs woven with intention, spirit, and the wisdom of the body. Her albums are available wherever you stream music. She and her partner, Andrew Hanuman, are the co-creators of a special type of group experience called a song ceremony -- in which they get the whole group co-creating an organic tapestry of sound, rhythm, melody, harmony, lyrics, and non-linguistic tones. It's not to be missed, and available if you come on private retreat with Destiny on the Big Island of Hawaii, at multiple west-coast festivals (stay tuned in via her monthly newsletter) or if you are simply coming for visit, then you can join them live in-person in Pahoa, Hawaii.
Light at the Core of It All... Destiny believes that when the nervous system is unwound and regularly regulated and when the central column of energy is flowing freely, the voice naturally opens and the body remembers itself as a self-healing mechanism. And when this happens? Creativity flows. Life aligns. The world responds.
So, if you're ready to embody your voice, regulate your nervous system, and activate your life, welcome. You’re in the right place.
